This Youtube video of a very creative boy with ADHD is interesting. The video was made by Johnson and Johnson. The video is interesting to me because the boy seems very much like he is Predominantly Inattentive. I did not see this mentioned in the comments but I did post a comment asking that question. It appears that his mom answers the questions from the comments. I will let you all know when I get an answer but look at the video and tell me what you think??

I'm interested to know, too. So many "disorders" have similar traits. I was actually thinking that he might have some Aspergers qualities when I watched this video, but I'm not qualified to say, obviously. My daughter is going to be evaluated for the first time by a psychologist very soon - we have our parent 'intake' appt. this week. We're wanting to make sure that ADHD is 'all' that is going on before we medicate her.
ReplyDeleteThis boy has a brother, George, who is Hyperactive/Impulsive with Asberger's but the mother describes Brad as an "Absent minded professor' type. I would say that the 'Absent minded professor' has Inattentive ADHD. It is interesting to me that in over 25 pages of comments on this video not one person mentioned Predominantly Inattentive ADHD.
